The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced Monday, July 20,2020 the official Resumption date for Universities,polytechnics and other schools.
The Federal Government of Nigeria (FG) has announced Monday,June 8,2020, the official resumption date for Universities,polytechnics, and other schools.
This was disclosed by Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, he assured and raised the hope of Nigeria students and the general public when he stated that president Muhammadu Buhari will open up all financial Institutions, schools and also spiritual houses after this second stage of lockdown which will end July and activities will begin normal on 20 july.
We will send a press release out tomorrow, thank you, he said. The ministry is also ordering the closure of all the 104 unity schools in the country from March 26 as a proactive step to prevent the spread of the dread coronavirus. School will resume fully by July 2020.

Following the easing of the lockdown and reopening of worship centres, markets and business, the federal government will reopen schools soon this was what Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 said, he further stated that the schools would be reopened when the safety of the school children could be guaranteed.
He said the government was wary not to endanger the lives of the school children and further spread of the coronavirus in the society.
