#Covid_19: Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) Temporarily Shut Down Academic Activities Over Coronavirus

The management of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) has joined the Nationwide shut down of tertiary institutions, that will take effect temporarily from Monday 23rd, March 2020. 

 

It could be recalled that the  Federal Government, as announced by the Honourable Minister of Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu, that all Federal Universities be shut down in order to curtail the spread of CoronaVirus in Nigeria

The directive from the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) to curtail and fight the spread of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) an infectious disease caused by a new virus has forced the management of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) to order the institution temporarily shut down from Monday 23rd, March 2020.

 

This is in compliance with the Federal Government’s directive that all Tertiary Institution Nationwide should be shut down.
