Anambra State University (ANSU) Cancels Plan to Reopen College of Medicine
The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University College of Medicine, Amaku-Awka, Anambra State management has canceled its plans to reopen the institution for the final medical students.
The university had earlier planned to reopen to enable its final year students to graduate amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
It could be recalled that Myschoolnews Called the attention of the Federal Ministry of Education on 15th may 2020, about the decision of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University College of Medicine to flaunt shutdown orders of the Federal government requesting all Vices in federal, state and private universities to remain schools closed to avoid the spread of the deadly virus (COVID-19) among students.
In reaction to the post,a senior lecturer in the College of Medicine of university told NAN on Saturday that they were putting finishing touches towards reopening the college to allow the final year students graduate.
